Life is unfair
Life has always been unfair to everyone. Let's discuss about it
Some people have the highest privilege ever offered, while some still fight for their basic human rights. Some say it's fate, others call it luck, but the fact that unfairness prevails cannot be disputed. It echoes through the streets we walk in, the places we share, the eyes of every stranger we meet, and the walls of every home.
Life's unfairness begins the day we are born. Some are born and placed on the bosom of their mother with the utmost love and care, while others are tossed away as if their lives are worth less than a piece of garbage. Few people grow up spoiled, being granted every thought being fulfilled; few have the privilege of leading a normal life, while some are being treated as animals in a cage, a slave on contract, a possession to be sold. Their livelihood is only a part of survival, but not a life worth living. Few live through dysfunctional homes where neglect is the only companion they have. Parents who force their dreams and wishes on their offspring to make them proud of society would obviously never appreciate them.
People living lives as if they are zombies, holding onto hope that someday they would escape this rat race called life. People with the most knowledge are being discarded, while people with background access can climb the social ladder as if they are on an elevator.
Even death is unfair. Newborns not given the chance to see the daylight, infants are killed for being a gender they were not given a choice to choose, children with numerous hopes and dreams are not able to fulfill any, and adults who have finally achieved their dreams are gone in a millisecond. The saga of life continues, forgetting these souls left behind.
Yes, there is hope for a few. Majorly, it's all in vain. Even people who toil day and night are rejected without a thought. Hard work changes nothing. It does give you a better chance of gaining freedom from your desolate life, but luck plays a major part in determining how you succeed. Unfortunately, not all souls are lucky. Some die trying.
Realizing the truth is an eye-opener for many, but some despair at even breathing. They say ignorance is bliss, and it i, in fact, true in this case. But knowing the truth makes you rethink the way you think about life.
Stop Overthinking - Overthinking consumes you from the inside. It makes you fabricate lies that have yet to happen. Break free from those thoughts and believe in yourself.
Find love - Love doesn't always have to be romantic. Find love in friendship, family, and yourself. Love yourself so that you are not impacted by what others think or say. Love blooms even when your heart is in drought.
Believe yourself - You are your only beacon of light. If you believe in yourself, you won't have expectations for anything. Disappointments can be prevented.
Look beyond life - Run towards your goals. Don't mind if you succeed or not. Keep trying. When your efforts end is when your life truly ends.
So life is definitely unfair for all. A billionaire may end up a beggar one day, while a beggar may rule the world with his talents. All it takes is a stroke of luck and a little magic called believing in yourself to live your life. Betrayals and bardships are part of life. Push through the fog and fight till you win.
